I just replaced the timer switch in my whirlpool washing machine, the problem I am having is the dial is not lining up with the cycle markings like an out of time car, is there any adjustment to fix this issue?

Hi Sgt
What you have described is not supposed to happen (that's scant comfort to you)
Anyway, if you could post your complete model number maybe we can figure this out, but it sure is a mystery to me.
Thanks, and thanks for serving.

Hi again Sgt I cannnot see anything that would cause that. Here is the dial piece that is listed for your model. Does yours look like that? If not, you may want to invest the few bucks and get this one, otherwise I do not have any good ideas for you. Usually the dial goes on just one way. Part number: AP3872760
Good luck, hope this helps, sorry not to be more helpful but I have not seen this problem before.
