Washer Repair

My kenmore front loader seems to be dead. There seems to be no power coming from the timer which makes me think that the timer is bad or the door switch? I tried to check and see if there was power to the door switch but there was no reading on my voltmeter. Any thoughts?

Somewhat unusual. I would first check to see that you are getting power to the timer.

If so, and no power is coming out the timer it would seem likely for you to replace it.

There is power to the timer.

Well, if power is coming into the Timer and not out of the Timer then I would recommend you replace the Timer.
