Had an error code F50 on my kenmore elite oasis washing machine, it would fill with water but stop after that . After reading through the forum I changed the rotation position sensor (rps) and wiring harness part number w10183157, now my machine just sits there an hums, nothing happens I cant even turn it off I had to unplug it. I double checked to make sure I connected everything correctly. I installed the old part again and it did the same thing it did before I installed the new rps and harness.Any help would be much appreciated.

The tech notes which you should have found under the top describe a test you can use to confirm your original diagnosis.

As far as it not working now, it is almost impossible to say from afar, but it sounds like there is some problem with the wiring, or maybe the control unit has been damaged.
