The washer won't agitate. I filled it up with water and when it was full it sounded like it was agitating but it wasn't. (There was a little movement, but not like it is supposed to have.) It will run on the spin only cycle. Any ideas?

Run it with the cover off to confirm that the motor and transmission pulley are turning when it is supposed to be agitating. If so, pull off the agitator and replace the coupling, this part here. Part number: AP3964635
Be careful, the agitator can come loose quickly and smack you in the face.

Ordered part Thursday afternoon and it arrived today. Five minutes later it was swapped out and washer working. Thank you so much. You saved me a bundle of money and time--none of the repair guys have even returned my call. You are the best.
