My top load Kenmore washer has quit spinning at the end of any cycle. It washes fine, water pumps out fine, it's just when it gets to the spin cycle, nothing happens. the motor is not even trying to spin, the only sound is the timer running. It doesn't sound like a mechanical problem, so is there some sort of electricle relay that's bad, or could it be a timer issue. Once in a great while it will spin, though most times it will not ??

Could be a bad timer with the age of it. Have you tried to wiggle the timer knob around during the spin cycle to see if it would kick in and spin?
