I cant change any settings. Thinking the touchpad is bad. Can it be cleaned if taken apart or can anybody tell me something else to try?

Model Number? If the touch pad has a ribbon cable you could try cleaning the end of the ribbon cable with a pencil eraser.

Model #NFW7200TW. I took it apart. I found that all 4 micro swithes are not working....How cound all four go bad at the same time? I can jump them on the back of the circuit board and everything works just fine.
