Model Number? If the touch pad has a ribbon cable you could try cleaning the end of the ribbon cable with a pencil eraser.

Model #NFW7200TW. I took it apart. I found that all 4 micro swithes are not working....How cound all four go bad at the same time? I can jump them on the back of the circuit board and everything works just fine.
