Hi,

Can you give a better description of what is happening?

I just went through a bunch of issues with my Maytag that involved the snubber, brake, transmission. See this thread for some descritptions of how I went through it. You may find something to help you.

Does it fill? Will it drain and spin? Remove the belt and select a spin cycle, and see if the motor is running.

ok well here is a little more it will fill, drain and spin fine now (would not spin before the new snubber). the motor turns fine with out the belt, i can turn the belt counter clockwise and make the thrust washer go down and turn the power on wash cycle it ingages the thrust washer and stops everything like the clutch is froze.

Hope that gives everyone a little more info

Thanks Ty

Hmm. OK. So with the belt on, it will spin and drain via the motor. So, the brake seems to be ok that way, and the pump appears ok.

With the belt off, can you turn the transmission pulley CW (looking up)? This is what drives the agitation cycle in the transmission. If it will not turn by hand that direction, you may need to take a closer look at the transmission.

So it seems like you need to determine if in fact the thrust bearing assembly is working correctly, or if its the transmission. I'm not sure of the best way. You could take out the brake assembly and see if you can then get the transmission to turn in the CW direction. did you replace the brake rotor and stator?
