[FONT='Arial','sans-serif']What lubricant do you recommend or how do you put this part on so that it does not either wear away, stop machine. Is there anything that can be put on the rubber seal and washer stem, like a lubricant? Your help would be greatly appreciated. [/FONT]

Do not use any lubricant to replace this part except for some soap to help install the part. this page will help Maytag Tub Seal Replacement
