WATER LEVEL has dropped since bought new, water level use to be at the top of tub (per wife) with towels/clothes. now down to 2nd hole. "Techs" have been out and explain, "looks normal to me"! Washer is approaching 5 yrs. still under warranty ext. Can air fill tube/switch decrease over time, inside body narrows, thus causing a faster fill switch cut-off? I will be taking apart to clean soon, and have already "adjusted set screw" in switch in panel to where it stops, filled about 1/2 " more. Maybe new hose? AP2135143, can it be covered under ext. warranty? Before I spend $35.00 I'll clamp it or tape ends to make a standard or find a metric size to fit.
Thank you

Hi Nnotsoo

The water level should not change over time.

You should call the techs back out and tell them you want them to replace the water level switch and the pressure tube.

You paid for an extended warranty and you have the right to have your machine serviced so that it is back in original operating condition. I know it is a hassle, but you should not have to pay for an extended warranty and then have to fix it yourself. The comment "looks normal to me" is not something any tech should ever utter without checking things out and measuring to the spec.

Good luck, hope you get a satisfactory result.
