My washer would agitate then when it was to drain and spin it did nothing. I replace the pump, timer, motor and lid switch. it now works but the motor is running slow.

Could the capacitor be bad?

Would a slow start and running speed be the symptom of a bad capacitor?

Before it died regular mode was very energetic cycle. Right now it is working but slowly.

Permanent press cycle drains the water but won’t spin

Help this thing is driving me nuts!

I don't think a capacitor would cause it to run slow, a bad capacitor would not allow it to start at all, but if you want to replace it to try that theory, go ahead.

I think the issue is either wiring with the motor or the motor itself.
