When the machine is set to fill with water it won't shut off. Bad experience last night. What is the control part I need to replace?

Hi Kirk
Sorry that happened, hope you did not have too great an amount of water damage.
To find out what is wrong, do this.
Start the machine and let the start to run in. Stop the machine with the timer. If the water continues to run, you have water inlet valve(s) that are stuck and need to be replaced. (stop the water by shutting down the external water valves)
If the water stops when you stop the machine, you have a problem in your water pressure system. There is a plastic tube that works on air pressure, as the machine fills up air pressure increases and this causes the pressure switch to shut off, telling the timer to shut off the water.
If this is not working you either have a problem with the tube (it is blocked or has a leak or something) so check it out first. If it is ok then the problem is in your water pressure switch and you will need to replace it. (It is possible that the problem is in your timer, but this is unlikely), Click on your model number and you will be taken to an exploded view of your machine. Fortunately, the water pressure switch is not expensive and it is easy to replace by opening up the console.
Good luck, let us know what you find out.
