How do you get the door lock switch to replace it on a Frigidaire Front Loader model FWT445GES1? I have removed the top and the rubber boot, but there just doesnt seem to be enough space to get to the connections. Do I have to remove the front panel? If so, how do I do that? I also received a modified switch, somewhat different then the original. Is the wiring the same as the original switch, it appears a little different?

Thanks

Here is a link to a service manual for that model. You may not have need to take off the gasket; when you go to put it back on be sure and have a helper.
