My washer won't spin. It will wash, fill, drain, but not spin. I took off the back and top, removed the drain hose, still won't work. A friend thought it may be a board, which may cost $100's+ Ideas???

YOur friend is probably right, and you have several choices here the most likely being the speed control board. The problem can also be the door lock assembly or the wiring from the door lock assembly to the main control board.

The first thing to do is take off the bottom service panel, and you will find tech notes that will tell you how to generate error codes in a diagnostic mode.

You may have to just order and install some parts to see what fixes it. If you order from this site and the part does not fix the problem you can return it, see the returns policy for details and conditions.

That should do it.
