~5 year old washer. Wife was doing a load when it just stopped. Agitator won't move at all, and nothing seems to want to kick it in. Figured it could be the lid switch, cause a few lifts and drops made it kick in again for 1 second, then stopped again.
Now, I am trying to get under the panel, but I can't seem to remove the knob.
Any ideas? There is a screw right under the knob - hence the reason to get in.

Remove the lid switch srews on the right side and pull the lid switch partially out. Unplug washer and see if the lid switch is broken or fails to click when pushed in. If so, strip and short the wires to it. If washer works, order a new one on this parts site.

Thanks for the video.. will help, but the main problem is I can seem to get the knob off of this model to access the screw I need to access the electrical panel without fear of breaking the knob.
Ideas? Should it just pull off?
