Noise Problem with Washer
Model Number: PAV2300AWW Rev 14 Brand: Maytag Age: 5 - 10 years
Washer makes grinding noise and agitator shakes when agitating.
 Any ideas what is causing this? Bad bearing(s)?Ads By Google Related Models

Tilt the washer toward the back, remove the belt and check how freely the pump pulley is moving in both directions. A bad pump bearings is one of most common problems with those washers.
If you the correct part number for the pump then post the serial number of the washer. Gene.
