I have a noisy washer when it spins (for rinse or spin dry). It also leaks a little when this happens.

Is this a bearing or seal? Is this easy to fix?

Remove the front panel. If the tub seal is leaking it's best to just buy a new washer, just too expensive to fix.

Yes the bowl is leaking by the bottom fitting/seal. What's the coolest thing you've ever made out of a used washing machine?
