Frigidaire washer won't drain
Model Number: FWS777GHSO Brand: Frigidaire Age: 5 - 10 years
My washer the other day wouldn't drain the water from the tub. There was a grinding noise coming from the lower pump attached to the drain hoses. But also the timer control was making a loud noise also. The pump appears to be spinning when the washer is on but it won't release the water from the tub. Any suggestions on what may be the problem. Is it the pump or would it be the timer control not closing anything when it should? Please any suggestions or experience with this problem would be much appreciated.

I would take the hoses off the pump and make sure there is nothing inside jamming up the pump impellor.
