High speed spin shuts off machine.
Model Number: MHWE200XW00 Brand: Maytag Age: 1 - 5 years
Washer shuts off during the max extract spin mode (highest speed spin) any ideas what the cause is? It starts to go into the high spin mode and the front panel lights all go out and the tub spins to a gradual stop.

Look under the top or inside the lower service panel and you should find some tech notes that will allow you to put it into test mode and generate some error codes.
That should tell you the problem, and focus on the control unit.
