The bottom bearing on the transmission mount makes loud noise when in spin cycle. I have the transmission removed but would like advice on how to change the bearing.

Are you talking about a bearing on the transmission because that transmission is not serviceable? GE doesn’t sell any individual parts for this transmission you would have to replace the whole transmission. Has the washer been leaking? A lot of times the main cause for these transmissions to become noisy is that the tub seal is leaking. Clothes Washer Repair Guide

It may be leaking a little. The bearing on the brake assembly rattles around and there is some rust dust in the area of the bearing.
