We tried cycling the washer onto other cycles, but no joy. We have two questions: 1) How do we get the washer to kick into "drain" mode so we can get the water out of the tub. 2) What can be causing this sudden result? We hear a buzzing when the "wash" light is on. The cycle estimated time decreases but nothing else happens. Any ideas floating around out there?
I have the same problem, with the exact same washer. It is 9 years old. It has operated flawlessly until today. I tried the diagnostic tests for draining and I hear a clunk like a solenoid is engaging, but it does not drain. I did the test for the keypad/buttons and it does not fail. The lid switch also is good. Please let me know if you have any ideas.
