My GE Washer won't spin and I was told by a friend who formerly worked for Sears that the agitator needs to be replaced. How do I remove my agitator, and how do I put in a new one? (I have googled directions but couldn't find an answer for my washer)
Please help!

Your agitator just pulls up. Sometimes it can be hard and if you can’t get your fingers under it you can use a belt. I got to say I am not sure why your agitator is causing your washer not tot spin. What exactly is it doing? Will it pump out? Do you hear any noisy when it suppose to be spinning?
