Hi, I have a maytag washer and my brother pull the knob so hard that now when i am doin a load it does not start at the starting point i would have to turn the knob and check if that were the water is starting to fill and the same with the spins and i think do to the shirt not being attached to the knob that what i think is the problem so i m goin to buy a timer. the reason i say that is because the shirt that indicate were is the cycle at it loss or crack so the timer is doing what it can. And i would also like to know how to remove the knob from timer.
