not spinning all the water out of clothes
Model Number: cav2000aww Brand: Magic Chef Age: 5 - 10 years
unit is not spinning all the water out of the clothes. i have to run it through the spin setting 2 -3 times. the belt looks ok. what else should i look for

Hi Griffith
If the belt is ok your problem can be in the transmission itself which might mean a new washer, or you could try replacing the pulley/bearing which comes as a kit and instructions and is not an expensive fix.
