GE TL washer will not spin with heavy loads
Model Number: WJRR4170 Brand: GE Age: 5 - 10 years
My washer will not spin with aheavy loads, more than 4 towels. It always drains, but will only spin if there only a few items. This just started happening about a week ago. I can wash a full load with no problem, but have to spin out a few items at a time. Whats wrong?

Take off the front cover by inserting a screw driver in the gap between top and the front near the edges to release clips that hold the front to the cabinet.
Go ahead and run the machine and see what happens with spin on a full load. If the motor is running and the pulley turning but the tub will not spin you may have a transmission issue.
