I have two of these washing machines. Both of them were bought at the same time about a year ago or so. We recently put both of them into use. one of them worked about two months and the otheer did about 12 loads. I have it narrowed down to the circut board on top of the motor. one of them blinks 9 times indicating that the brake risistor is open and the other blinks 6 times indicating that to rotor is locked. I have switched circut boards and the indicator follows the circut board. Is there a way to reset the circut board?

This page tells about the error codes and how to reset the board HydroWave GE Washer Repair Guide

I recommend clearing the code and if it comes back replace the part indicated by that page.
