Help,

Washer is a little over 1 year old and i already have a problem.Started to go thru wash cycle and stopped just before the spin cycle. I noticed the door locked lite was on but i was able to open the door, now i can't start the washer in any wash cycle. I do have power to the machine.Anyone have any ideas. thanks

I can imagine you are upset, and have a right to be. This is a pretty expensive unit, and right after the factory warranty has expired you have this problem.

My problem is that this is a relatively new model, which I have not worked on and probably neither have the others who respond on this forum. It is likely (but not certain) that your door lock assembly is the problem, although you should check the wiring between the control board and the assembly first for any breaks, shorts or exposed parts. Sometimes the factory accidentally stripped a piece of wiring and it does not manifest itself until much later.

If you think the wiring is ok, then you could replace the door lock assembly. Here is your part.

Not a guarantee, but I think it is your best bet.

Good luck, let us know how it all turns out.
