Top load washer will not agitate, I took the front panel off and the green indicator light on motor blinks 6 times every few seconds. What does that mean?

Please post the model number, and since you have the front open, take off the belt and see if the big pulley it goes around will easily turn in bothdirections.

Ok, thanks The error code is telling you that the motor needs to be replaced which is expensive, but not as bad a situation as it could have been. Obviously I cannot say this with certainty, but it is a high probability that will fix it. Unfortunately, almost all GE parts are expensive, thanks to GE. Here is the parts diagram.
