this washer has had two new latch sensors put in and now it will fill with water start a cycle and then stop and "LF" comes up in the display. Anyone have an explaination of what the LF means. If you hit the power button the washer will expell the water and then shut off.
FRUSTRATED and this is less than a year old!

A model number may help others help you.

I do not have a cross reference for Sears/Kenmore models to the manufacturers models. The first 3 digits of the Kenmore model number tells you who made it.

I think that an OASIS is the same or real close to a Whirlpool Cabrio.

Following is a good site for manuals. There are 2 for the Cabrio in the Washer section. One with 6th Sense and one without.
Download Manager - ApplianceDigest.com
You have to join the site to download the manual but it is free and this is a very good site for manuals and other info for the appliance repair DIYer.

LF looks like it stands for Long Fill.

Denman,
thank you for responding to my post. I was able to get the model number:110.27062603 and the Serial # : CU0470184.

so the LF meaning Long Fill, is there any remedy if the water pressure in the facility is low and it takes a long time to fill the machine?

Could this also be the reason the fill/drain/spin is not operating too?

thanks for the help. I really want to throw this machine out the window at this point.

As far as I know there is no way to fix this.

I could not find out what type of Cabrio this is so I used the standard Cabrio service manual from the link in my earlier post.
Take a look at Page 3-13 for possible fixes.
I would also try cold only and hot only cycles to see if the problem is caused on only one water cycle type.
Most likely causes would be a partially clogged screen filter on the input side of a water valve. Also the pressure tube, check it for cracks etc. and that it is tight at both ends.

The error locks up the machine so it would effect all operations.
