:) I'm a single mom who just moved and now my washing machine is not spinning properly. It's a front loading Gipson or Gibson (sp?)... I have been told it could just be out of balance, or it could be a pump or a filter issue.

It has historically had an issue with being out of balance and occasionally not spinning out the water, but it was easily resolved by running an extra spin cycle. Last night I ran repeated spin cycles (different settings, etc).

If it's something I can do on my own, I will... If it's not worth it, I will just buy a replacement. I'm certainly not going to pay a repairman to do the work, as that is almost as much as what I will pay for a new or refurbished machine.

Thanks for any and all suggestions!!:)

If it was handled and moved without reinstalling the shipping bolts, there may be damage done to the suspension components. The best thing to do is have a pro come in and diagnose it.
