Model Number: GTWN4950LOWS Brand: GE Age: Less than 1 year
My new GE Washer has automatic water level. Has no manual control to change water level. Very often the clothes come out with huge dry spots as they were never wet. Clothes were loaded properly per instruction manual. Does anyone know how to cheat/adjust auto-sensor to raise the water level a bit?

I am not getting this model number to come up, is it a U. S. machine?
Check it and see if it is correct. In the meantime see if there is a pressure switch that is controlled by a tub running to the basket and if so, check that tube. If it is ok replacing the pressure switch might be the solution, but really cann't be definitive until we know exactly what machine you have.

Model # is correct. Machine came from Home Depot last November. It is a GE top loader with infuser technology. Has no agitator, just a hub where you can add fabric softener. I did have the front & top off, there is a tube running from an out-crop low on the tub, to what must be the pressure switch in the control panel. I didn't inspect it closely. i will do that. Also found electrical spec. inside with instructions for checking error codes. Will also try that. Thanks.

Ok great. We are limited in our ability to talk about newer models like these because we have no experience with working on them until they are at least several years old. Plus GE will not release any tech info.
Good luck, hope you can get it right!
