Need to repair a disc. wiring harness
Model Number: LT5000XVW0 Brand: Whirlpool Age: More than 10 years
Need a little help here. The wiring harness (part# 3387713) has a single wire short at the quick connect. The part is discontinued and no one seems to have one. So I plan to repair it. Any suggestions on the best way to work around the short? It seems the male connector is burned up a bit.

If you can access the wires on both male and female plugs then just cut them off the plugs and connect using a wire nut.
