The problem began about 6 months ago with water continuing to run at the end of filling for the rinse cycle (it would stop if you turned the cold water off and then back on). It's now progressed to water flowing continuously when the cold water valve is open. I replaced the "Assy sensor" but no change in the problem. Can you advise on the likely cause or next step in repair?

I think the cold water valve is stuck open and replacing the valve assembly should fix things.
