My washing machine won't agitate or spin ...what do I need to do?

Hi

Can you give us a more detailed description of what is happening, specifically

1. Does the machine fill correctly and then do nothing?

2. Does the timer continue to advance?

3. Does this happen in all cycles?

4. Can you hear the motor running or any other noise, buzzing etc?

5. If you move the timer to the end of the agitate cycle will it drain?

Anyway, if you can give us a full description of what is going on I am sure we can have a bunch of suggestions, some of which might even help.
