Washer won't spin cloths. Washer fills, agitates and drains fine. What parts should I be checking? Very frustrated...

The first thing you will want to check is the lid switch. Unplug the machine. Take off the console by undoing the two screws that hold it to the cabinet and flipo it back. You will see a plastic clip connecting wires from the console going into the cabinet. Disconnect this and by pass the lid swtich by using an insulated solid copper wire inserted into the outside holes on the connector coming from the console.

Plug the machine back in, put it on spin and engage it. If it spins, replace the lid switch.

Let us know what you find out. Good luck, and I think your frustration will end with this test.
