I'm not sure how old it is or exactually how old it is. The model # could be LR64178, 897G, 354593, El0860. All of a sudden it just won't drain. I'm a 57-year-old lady who'd like to try to repair it myself. I've kept all user manuals to everything, but this. Can someone help me?

Thanks.

Hi Folding

The likely cause of your problem is a blocked drain system or a filed drain pump.

Unfortunately without a model number I can only give you general directions. It is likely you can access the pump/drain system by removing the front panel, either with taking out screws or releasing some clips. Once you do this take the hoses off the pump and see if they are blocked. You can also operate the machine with the front panel off to see if the pump is running.

Good luck, and if you can tie down a model number let us know and we may be able to provide more help.
