Motor Sliding.
Model Number: HAV2557AWW Brand: Maytag Age: 1 - 5 years
It was making a a lots of noise during spin and and wash so I look under the.
Found that belt is Wrong off and about to break! Motor Pulley have a lot of crap from belt on there. Probably get pulley replace too. I've replace the Transmission on this thing once. but I don't remember how the motor should sit. When I removed the belt and check thing out, motor sides back and forth freely. Thought need tension so I tighten the lock nuts but they don't seem to do anything. I have Belt and Pulley in cart now, I wonder if I need something else to keep that motor is place or that how it work. Even with loose motor and worn out belt, washer still works.
