2003 Maytag model # mavt634aww leaking lubricant directly below agitator.More like a fine greasy dust.Is the transmission dying or is there a seal to fix? Thanks

Here's a technical bulletin on your machine about a new type of seal.

You can pull the agitator and check things out, but I think you are likely headed for a replacement washer. Nothing good can come from having grease from the drive train.
