I have a Kenmore Elite Oasis HE top loading washer. It stopped working in the middle of a load. I had a tech come in and told me the washer was getting power but the board was not lighting up. He told me he was pretty sure it was the main control board. The machine would not power on at all. I took the panel off and checked the boards. The panel board seems to be fine. No burnt spots on the board anywhere. I took off the the main control board (inside the plastic cradle) and that was fried. I replaced it with a new board. Now as soon as I plug it in. It seems to do something. I hear water and beeps but the panel does not light up nor does the power or start button go on.

Can someone tell me what I need to do next?

I hate to tell you to keep trying new parts, but with these models that is what you end up doing.

It may be the interface is the problem, but you will have to replace it to be certain.
