Whirlpool duet washer
Model Number: wfw9200sq00 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 1 - 5 years
Washer starting to make a loud rubbing, metalic noise during wash cycle but quiet during rinse cycle. I have manually spun the drum checling for anything rubbing between drum and unit shell, all ok. What can you advise me to check?

Hard to say without being there to see it. Take off the back and check the shocks and springs, and even if you cannot find the problem you may want to change the shock supports anyway to see if that fixes it.
