Hi, My washer is leaking from the outer lower tub bearing seal. How do you remove the rubber seal,(bellows)? I can see a spanner nut inside the bellows but do not see any threads? It feels like there is a spring inside the bellows. Does the inner sleve come out first? HELP

To fix this you will need to replace the seal, boot, tub bearing, mounting stem and spanner nut. All the parts that are required to replace the Maytag tub seal come with these two part numbers 22204012 and 204013. To replace the spanner nut and the mounting stem you will need a tool, part number 22038313. This page will describe the steps in replacing these parts Maytag Tub Seal Replacement
