Exclamation Washer will agitate, but needs help spinning.
Model Number: FWS445RFS3   Brand: Frigidaire   Age: 5 - 10 years

The washer will fill, agitate and drain, but when it is time to spin the clothes, I have to manually put my hand in the tub, and "force" it to go around, it feels like it is "stuck" on something. Once it is unstuck, and give it a little push, it picks up speed and starts to spin on its own.

Gene has much to be proud of
Default

Remove the front panel and check the belt and the transmission pulley.

If there is nothing wrong then the transmission is bad and has to be replaced.

- The part number for the belt is AP3867042

- The part number for the transmission pulley is AP2107024

- The part number for the transmission is AP3892126

- Here are the break down diagrams for the Frigidaire washer Model FWS445RFS3

Gene.
