washer fill then does nothing if you turn it to rinse it does nothing but if you turn it to spin it pumps out the water and spins fine. ruled out door switch belts are fine . agitator isn't stripped as i've had that happen on another washer this you don't hear the moter running at all . like it turns it self off after fill-up standing here straching my head as the laundry heads for the ceiling

I cannot get your model number to come up, is this a non-U.S. washer?

It sounds like your control unit is the problem, that is where I would start.

model number wore off so the 38 is a guess:)
