Default Fashing "door open" and will not start
Model Number: GLTF2490ES2   Brand: Frigidaire   Age: 1 - 5 years

Yesterday my washer worked fine. Today I loaded it up and hit start just like normal. Usually you hear it clunk as the door locks and away it goes. But today it made a humming sound and then began to beep and flash the door open display. I tried changing the dial, opening and closing the door a number of times, unplugging and plugging it back in-nothing helped. If someone could shed some light on this, I would be grateful. Sammy

Gene has much to be proud of
Default

Most likely the problem is with the door latch.
I can not give you more accurate advise because the model number you provided is incorrect.

Gene.
