Model Number: DEFY AUTOMAID 600 DAW 317 Brand: -other- Age: 1 - 5 years
Hi, My name is Raymond from South Africa. I have a problem with my washing machine, it does not drain well in such way that after drain&spin leaves the clothes still wet. What amazed me is that when I select drain and spin it does that very well. I checked pump - seems to be ok, however when I opened the drain pipe from the drum to the inlet of the pump I found some coins some ,strings from the clothes and I cleared all that but the problem is still there. I don't know what else to do I have been trying to look for the filter which I could not find. Also what is the purpose of the small ball found at the inlet of the drain from the drum to the pump ? Can you please give me some advice with this regards and also help me to locate the filter.
Thank you From Raymond Ads By Google Related Models Last edited by mvangeli raymond Khumalo : 11-04-2011 at 07:47 PM. Reason: My washing machine is a front loader |

Hi Raymond
We here in the U.S. cannot identify your model. It may be a variation of a U. S. model, so if you can tell us who made it and give a good description, or post a couple of pictures we may be able to identify it and help. Normally your problem would be some type of obstruction, but the fact that it drains and spins sometimes is confusing to us, sounds like to you also.
