I have a newer GE Profile Model # WPRE6100G0WT that is overflowing intermittently. I am not sure if it's the pressure switch or the fill valve.
I've ordered the following parts from AppliancePartsPros.Com
Pressure Switch
New Control Board - Only certain cycles have worked since we had the unit figured I would replace this at the same time
My wife washed 5 loads of laundry and had no issues and on the 6th load it would not stop overflowing.
I'm worried it might be the fill valve? Any thoughts?
Thanks,
-Joe Overflowing in Orange County CA!

Hello SeattleIS300. Heres how I check the valve start the washer in a normal cycle when it starts filling with water I unplug the unit if water keeps coming in its a bad valve. Part number: ap3861119
If it stops we go further. Now we are checking the Part number: ap3884148
pressure switch.I take the cover off the back guard, unplug the clear hose off of the pressure switch try to blow air thr that hose I have seen them stopped up. Also I check the Part number: ap2046584
hose for cracks or holes sometimes a mouse will chew them up causing the problem you are having.
