Default washer keeps repeating the rinse cycle
Model Number: LAT8500AAW   Brand: Maytag   Age: 5 - 10 years

The machine just keeps repeating the rinse cycle and will not stop automatically. Do you think it is the main timer or some other switch?

Before I'll be able to tell what's wrong I need more specific information: what does the timer when it's repeating the rinse cycle? It stops or it goes around to the rinse cycle? Try to describe the picture as much as possible.
Gene.

is it possible that not all the water is being drained during the spin portion of the cycle.. if the pressure switch still sees water in the tub, it will continue the cycle, all over again... make sure that the water in the waste line or basin is going down quickly enough...
