Default GE Washer Help Needed
Model Number: WPSR3090   Brand: GE   Age: 5 - 10 years   

Washer will start to aggitate or spin on spin cycle for about 30 seconds and then the motor just stops. It smells like something is getting hot. After it is allowed to sit for 5 min it will do the same thing again start and then quit. Some help please

Most likely the problem with your washer is a bad motor.

Remove the front panel to get access to the motor. It is a good idea to replace the belt at the same time.

- The part number for the motor AP3160670

- The part number for the belt AP2044592
