I need to install new level shocks and a belt...I am looking for a proper step by step method to do this. I have the top and the back of the machine off. I see springs attached at the top and is that where I start by unattaching the springs? Thanks in advance for the help.

You may already be aware of it, but this machine is made by Frigidaire for Sears, and it is a pretty good washing machine, although we do seem to have had a lot of questions about it recently.

The belt should be easy. Just place it on the large pulley and "roll" it onto the smaller one.

Assuming you are talking about the air shocks, they are held in place with a plastic pin with a tab lock. Take a deep 1/2" socket or similar size and press it in to compress the tab on the pin. Then pull the pin out.
