my motor will not start up on its own with belt removed, I have to help it get started.I dont know if I have a bad start capacitor or motor? and if it is the capacitor I cant find it, I know what caps look like, I must be blind!

You should not have a capacitor on this model, you have start windings and run windings.
You need to see if you are getting power to the motor, and if the problem is in the motor switch.
