GE washer is leaking through small hole in plastic pump assembly when agitating. The hole looks to be a refief port. Do I need to replace the hole pump assembly? Is this a difficult job? Thank You

This is one of the most common problem with such pumps.

It's going to be worse and worse and it's better to replace the pump.

The job is not very complicated. You have to remove the back cover to access the pump. The pump is mounted with four screws and the new pump comes with new screws. The pump is connected to the motor with the coupling (#601 on the #1 break down diagram).

- The part number for the pump AP2046344

- Here are the break down diagrams for the GE washer Model WWA8330GAL
